Honestywall is a weird and wonderful addition to the web. It’s a collection of everyday anecdotes and stories likely to happen to anyone and everyone, sent to us exclusively by our users, which we then publish on the site. This is a site where you are able to post up funny stories with or without  visual evidence (such as images and videos) about funny, wacky stories that happen to us or people we know with every ounce of truth.

The posting categories include: AWEsomeness, Confessions, Fashion, Foolish Questions, FUM (Fucked Up Moments), Media.

-AWEsomeness: Did you see or hear something that left you in AWE, or did you experience something AWEsome today? Write about it!

-Confessions: Harboring in ill thoughts and memories will drive you straight to the crazy house, so confess already! Write about it!

-Fashion: See the latest fashion dunks and fashion flunks!

-Foolish Questions: Have you ever had a question that was just too dumb to ask? Don’t be ashamed; let the world answer it for you!

-FUM: If something ever made you say “Damn, that’s Fucked Up!” Write about it!

-Media: Utilize the American freedom of speech and comment on whatever news/media story you would like to! From the President of the USA to CAFs (Celebs Acting Foolishly)!

There is also section called “Team’s Blog.” This section is a news blog that includes posts from the Honestywall’s creators. To view the entire collection of these entries, simply place the cursor over the Team’s Blog tab and the recent entries will appear.

Honesty Wall allows its users to post/upload prose, videos, music etc.  The web domain is primarily geared towards individuals ranging from the young adult to the mid-40s parent.  Honesty Wall takes pride in being a medium by which people can relax, read, write, get information, and get a laugh.  The truth is bitter, Spit It Out!

How does it work?

Each user can contribute to the site and submit his or her own story by clicking on the “Submit Post” link or send to our email honestywall@gmail.com. To be published, your story will have to be funny and also approved by our team.  As soon as your story is on line, visitors can comment on them and vote the if they like them or not

I’ve just sent in my stories, what next?

In the publication process, your submission is moderated by the team and will then decide whether the story is worthy of being on the site and if it is worthy, we will be swift to put it on our frontpage . I order to be able to get on the frontpage, a good story should seem fresh, well written, did really happen and has to be funny.

Does the site contain fake stories?

It’s possible, even though we try our best to avoid posting something fake, there’s no real way to check that the stories we receive really did happen. For stories that have photographic and video evidence, it is safe to say those are extent real. We look at it like this: as long as a story(photo/video) makes us smile and seems convincing and possible, we will publish it. You must remember that a lot of people are in the world, that sometimes fact is stranger than fiction, and stupid crazy things happen all over the world to stupid crazy people(and sometimes innocent bystanders). Just because something seems totally insane and could never happen to you doesn’t mean that it never happened.
